Red Barn Orchard | Spring Blossom Pictures
Spring is here which means it’s time to for spring blossom pictures! And if you want your pictures to be soft and light, a blossom session is perfect for you.
Rowley’s Red Barn Family Pictures
If you live in Utah, you’ve likely seen blossom pictures done at the Utah State Capital (which is totally gorgeous)! But in recent years, I have absolutely fallen in love with taking pictures at the stunning Rowley’s Red Barn orchard in Santaquin. With beautiful green grasses and giant gorgeous blossoms that completely surround you, it may just be my new favorite spring family picture location.
And bonus – unlike the Capital blossoms that look best in early April, this orchard really shines at the beginning of May. This means the temperatures are likely to be warmer and you have a little more time to shop the new Spring clothing releases.
What to Wear for Spring Family Pictures
If you’re taking pictures with blossoms, you cannot go wrong with a good pastel moment! Whites, tans, light blues, baby pinks, greens, etc look SO good in this setting. I just recommend choosing fabrics that have a little extra interest, like a pattern or subtle texture.
A final tip – when you’re choosing your family picture outfits, think about where you will be hanging the photos in your home. This can help you choose what outfit colors will look best in that space.
