I  cannot believe it has been a whole year since I  took these photos and I’m just barely getting around to sharing them. I’m not going to lie, this Fall family picture session lives rent free in my head. Payson Canyon is one of the best photo spots in Utah county and this family is SO DARLING.

Lifestyle Family Photography Utah

Let’s take 2 seconds to talk about lifestyle family photography. First, you may be wondering “what is lifestyle photography.” And while another utah family photographer may give you a different answer, to me it is magic.

Really. Lifestyle photography means that I  capture images that show how your family interacts. The little giggles and snuggles and yes, even the brothers wrestling. It’s a way of freezing your family as it is right now.

Without the poetry, it means that in between the posed shots, I  am still snapping pictures of the kids running around and mama giving baby some quick kisses. This style of photography is fun for kids, because they aren’t stuck standing around giving the same fake smile. They get to play with each other and you! Which means you get images like these.
