This dreamy session is the textbook example of why I am such a fan of lifestyle family pictures. Let’s be honest for a second, sometimes getting pictures taken with kids can feel a little chaotic. Kids can be camera shy, or restless, or hungry, or tired, or grouchy, or just plain over it.  Luckily, I have tons of experience working little smiles out of your crew as a Utah family photographer.

Letting your kids break free and have some fun is one of my best tips for authentic images. Letting your littles run around, snuggle in, play a little game, or join in on a tickle fight makes the experience fun for them. It lets kids feel like themselves. And, it allows me to capture authentic moments and the way your family uniquely interacts. And then, when it’s time to settle down for a few posed images, they’ve had a chance to get their wiggles out and they’re a lot more willing to sit still for a second and smile. So you get a gallery that is full of candid and naturally posed images. Lifestyle pictures really are a mom’s win-win.

This location is so peaceful and the most stunning green backdrop for your crew. With grassy hills, soft green trees, calm water, and gorgeous wildflowers — it seriously feels like it stepped out of a painting.
