I met Paige at the park on Saturday in Fullerton, CA. She was absolutely GLOWING. Seriously. She was a stunning pregnant woman! A few days later she gave birth to her second daughter, sweet Violet.
I was able to be invited into Brian and Paige’s home to capture their new family of four. Their home is light, warm and welcoming – as are they! Talking with them is just like talking with old friends. I feel so blessed to be able to make wonderful friends while doing a job that I love.
Brian is a landscape photographer, and we had a great time talking about our favorite lenses and camera bodies! His choice of camera is a Nikon, so we definitely get along! 🙂
Hailey is their oldest daughter, she is taking to being an older sister in the most wonderful way! The way she looks at her baby sister, holds her and protects her is just about the sweetest thing I have ever seen. I seriously cannot wait to see their little relationship blossom as Violet grows.
Violet is SO peaceful. You can tell she is going to be a very loving little lady. During our session she was sleepy and lovely. She didn’t mind being passed around, cuddled and even posed. She has such beautiful dark hair, and the most soft feminine features. Especially her dainty nose! I just wanted to kiss it!!
I am so glad I was able to meet these new friends!

Chris and Chelsea welcomed the most beautiful baby boy into the world this spring, August Joseph.
Sweet August had a week stay in the NICU, and Chelsea was so excited to get her little boy home and have his newborn session to capture all his beautiful sweetness.
When I walked into their home, you couldn’t help but feel warmth and joy! Their home was perfectly prepped and ready for this sweet boy. Chelsea had taken the time to create the most darling adventure themed nursery. Complete with planes, a boat, a map and books to take him anywhere and everywhere!
August has the cutest little nose, and most wonderful features. Chelsea and Chris are right in saying he’s their little gerber baby!

From the moment Kristin got in contact with me about her session, I was so excited. She had sent me a picture of her little family telling me how she was looking for a Lifestyle Newborn Photographer. I knew she would be so fun because they just looked like the happiest, and funnest little family.
Kristin is so laid back and kind. During our session I felt like I was visiting best friend and her family. Her and her husband Ryan were so welcoming and had such a beautiful home! Their house was warm, light, bright and airy. Basically all of my favorite things because they even had the most perfect little newborn girl for me to love on!
Logan Marie is a darling, beautiful baby girl! For the beginning portion of our time together she was wide-eyed and curious. Little lady is definitely going to have some killer beautiful eyes! She even gave us some of the most darling little smiles! And when I went to swaddle her up tight, she didn’t even mind! Every time I get to wrap up a little newborn I can’t get over how big my baby Grey is. Logan is just so sweet and teeny!
Now, I cannot forget to mention Pierce! What a stinking heartbreaker! Little dude was running around, jumping, dancing, screaming, playing and flirting! His bright blue eyes and blonder hair are killer! I was lucky enough to get a hug and a surprise kiss from him! I seriously die looking over all the images of him playing with his big, happy grin and little miss Logan just fast asleep.

I simply cannot get over this family. The only word I can find to sum up how lovely my time with them is:
Dreamy
Cassie & Adam are such a sweet, laid back couple. Entering their house was like entering into an old friends home. Warm, kind and friendly. Their adorable son Calvin could NOT wait to show me his bedroom, his trucks and of course – his newborn sister Molly.
During our time together, Calvinwas a sweetheart. He had all of the stories to tell, and beautiful drawings to show me. Boy at his age can get restless easily, but he was a gem! He sure know how to show his newborn sister all of the love between the way he held her and smiled at her. He definitely deserved his strawberry ice cream treat!
Sweet Molly was 6 lbs of pure beauty. Little miss wanted to spend time with her Mama and Dada and stayed awake for the majority of our time together. I sure didn’t mind because, her little eyes were beautiful and curious. She even gave us some sweet yawns and smiles.
And may I just say that Cassie is a model? Who looks this good 2 weeks after having a baby?! But really, I enjoyed my time with her because she is such an easy person to talk to. I love my job, because I get to meet so many wonderful people.
I always like to ask parents what it was like to bring their new baby home. I just loved how Cassie & Adam said that this time around it was much less scary!!
